What is it?
A biodegradable additive for hot mix asphalt is not harmful to human health or the environment.
What is it for?
Significant improvement of workability and compatibility of asphalt mixtures at lower temperatures.
The rejuvenator enables work in the marginal parts of the construction season and in the main season to reduce working temperatures by up to 50 °C, thus reducing emissions and the carbon footprint.
How does it look?
An odourless liquid, delivered in IBC containers of 1,000 litres.
How does it work?
The rejuvenator chemically modifies the surface tension of bitumen to better bond to the aggregate.
The dosage 0.1-0.2 % by weight of bitumen increases workability and adhesion.
The dosage 0.3-0.5 % by weight of bitumen allows to reduce the temperature for mixing, laying and compaction.
The dosage of 0.5 % by weight of bitumen is recommended for the production of asphalt mixtures using PmB or a high recycled content.
